Open Water Diver - Beginning Scuba Class

The completion of the following requirements will award you with an internationally recognized SCUBA certification and a life time of passion for our underwater world.

We want to make your experience with us as complete as possible. That's why we include the following:

Student Kit - Includes your books (Open Water Diver Manual and companion workbook), answer sheets, dive tables, home study video, and student folder. You also receive quality class and pool sessions, all scuba equipment for the pool (regulator with dive computer, BC, wet suit and all the air you can breathe), plus convenient, continual scheduling that fits your needs. To begin your underwater adventure you will need to following items: dive quality mask, fins (with boots), snorkel, log book, bathing suit, towel and a smile.

Home Study - This is the classroom or academic part of your scuba course. Prior to the first class, you will view the video, read the book, and fill in the questions on the answer sheet provided. Your instructor will review each section of the book and go into much more detail on topics of importance.

At the conclusion of the classroom training, your instructor will issue the final exam. This will help with your understanding of SCUBA and get you ready for the pool!

Pool Dives - This consists of you "getting wet" in the comfort of a pool setting. This is where you will acquire all of the skills necessary for your open water dives. The pool sessions are not demanding and they are tailored in a very easy going, comfortable pace.

Certification Dives - This is the final section which consists of diving with our instructor in an open water environment. You have a choice of open water sites from our local waters to the optional weekend trips. Prices for certification dive vary according to which adventure you choose. Again, we tailor it to your needs and desires.
